Finally! My last post for August, Lisa and Hari's beautiful Hindu wedding. What a memorable day! The ceremony was amazing. I was invited to be up close for the entire ceremony, which afforded some really great angles! The Hindu ceremony is a lengthy one complete with a change of dress for Lisa, from a green saree to a red one, to help signify her becoming a married woman. Oh and the details! Rings, necklaces, foods on the altar, fire... I could go on. And to top it off, Lisa got to change into a third gown for the reception. I was like a kid in a candy store- so much deliciousness! Seriously though, it was one of the more beautiful weddings I've photographed. Lisa and Hari were just so, so happy to be married. And that was the most beautiful part of all. :)
