Emily and Hesham :: 6.27.09

As I'm sure is the case with all my fellow wedding photographers, I'm a huge sucker for romance. I love every minute of a good, no-holds-barred mushy wedding day. Emily and Hesham worked the romance factor to the hilt. Emily found a gorgeous lacy gown and rocked a sweet up-do, courtesy of Deb from All Tressed Up. So pretty. Hesham, not to be outdone, had his groomsmen present her with not one but two bouquets of flowers before meeting up with him for their first look at Beaumont tower. (Crazily, a good half of my summer shoots have been at the tower. I think I should start sleeping there.)

If you want my two cents, the first look is the way to get your best photos and again, is full-out romantic. I love catching that amazing moment when the bride and groom first see each other privately and get all choked up.... mmm, it's too amazing. More on that in another post.

After their ceremony at the Alumni Chapel (another locale I should just pack up and move to), they headed over to their party at the MSU Union Ballroom. The place was decked out in candlelight and was breathtaking. Much of that and the perfect flow of the day was owed to Lynn Lucas with W.E.D. and her amazing event planning and decor skills. She's awesome! Having planned much of their wedding from Kuwait, Emily and Hesham's day was flawless and was a joy to photograph.

Your wedding day was beautiful, Hesham and Emily! Thanks for sharing it with me!
