Megan & Neale :: Bay City, MI

Megan and Neale are a wonderful couple and very tolerant in less-than-perfect situations. This is a great lesson for anyone planning a wedding...
Last summer, we shot engagement photos in 90-something degree heat. It was hot, hot, hot, but Megan and Neale just rolled up their jeans and hopped into the river! The photos were so fun- you'd never know how hot it was! On the wedding day, everything was gorgeous- the church and flowers, the cake and all the little details. Wouldn't you know it, amid all that perfection, a flat tire on the way to the reception. It delayed them for over an hour (thank you, 7-11 for the use of your parking lot!), but everyone seemed to have a fabulous time anyway. It's very hard to kill a wedding-day high! And yes, unexpected things may occur on a wedding day. While it may not happen exactly as you hoped, at the end of the day, you are married and that's what matters most. :)

This cracks me up... check out Neale's best man...

Garter removal requires a very unique dance!

What an awesome day! I wish you two nothing but the best!

Danielle + Gabriel :: Their Wedding

Danielle and Gabe are such an awesome couple! So much fun to shoot their big day. The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Paul's Episcopal church in Lansing (yay for older churches!) on a very wet September Saturday. Danielle had her heart set on grabbing some candids outside and with the help of an umbrella, we got 'em. I love how they turned out- umbrellas make such unexpectedly cool props! Afterward, they partied it up at Eagle Eye with tons of family and friends.

How spectacular are these shoes?? I wanted to take them home with me. ;)

Danielle. Just gorgeous.

This is Gabe's son, Aiden: ring bearer extrordinaire.

Yummy!

Ahh, so romantic. I'm a sucker for the first dance. Thanks you two, for making my job so easy!
