Alexis and Andrew are getting married!

Wow- this blog is SO unbelievably far behind! I can't seem to catch a break either- I recently went on vacation and tried to blog from the beach. A nasty connection meant that I couldn't upload much of anything. But the sun and sand sure were nice... ;) Now that I'm back in good ol' Michigan, I'll do my best to get caught up!

Alexis and Andrew are a super-adorable couple I shot back in June. I loved getting to know their personalities and trying to make Andrew comfortable in front of the camera- he really has a huge aversion to getting photos taken. I can't wait to shoot their wedding this September on the lake outside of Traverse City. I spent Summers up there as a kid and am so excited to have a great excuse to go back for a visit! Pure Bliss- Michelle and Brandon

There is definitely something wonderful about small, intimate weddings. Michelle and Brandon were married at Williamston Free Methodist in front of only close family and friends. They seemed to really savor every second- and that's what I think is so great about weddings kept on the tinier side. There seems to be more opportunity to dig deep and get down to all those happy emotions. A huge thank you to Michelle and Brandon for allowing me to see your beautiful wedding through my lens!
