A Wedding with Style

I had the honor of covering Karia and Mel's beautiful wedding at Second Ebenezer in Detroit in early May. The day couldn't have been more perfect- not a cloud in the sky. Karia was such a gorgeous bride and Mel was the very proud and somewhat nervous groom. You could just feel the joy and excitement in the air- it was breathtaking to witness. Have I said lately how much I love my job?! Afterward, they partied at the Omni, in a fabulous courtyard tent alongside the Detroit River. Here are a few of my favorites...

Pure Elegance

Kim and Dave's wedding in early May was just that. Even though the weather was was occasionally on the dreary side, they didn't let that spoil a minute of their wedding and reception at the Henry Ford. Happily, Kim got her wish to spend some time with her groom on the grounds at Lovett Hall and on the gorgeous balcony. She was such a brave bride- her hair held up perfectly even though mother nature tried her best to undo it. Lovett Hall is a breathtaking location for a wedding- so historic and unique. It was an honor to cover this very classy event!
